Wing-Commander Kent, now 27 years old, has become famous because of his daring and uncommon flying techniques. He is the leader of 303 Polish fighter squadron and has shot down at least thirteen enemy aircraft. Wing Commander Kent has now been honoured with the Polish equivalent of the Victoria Cross. Wing-Commander Kent received his flying training at the Konrad Johannesson flying school in Winnipeg, renowned as the most advanced private flying school of its kind in the country.
Icelanders have good reason to be proud of Konnie's achievements in the art of flying.
